What we collect

Ownly collects the account details needed to identify you, the property and financial information you choose to enter, and essential technical data required to operate and secure the service.

Signing in

You can create an account with an email and password or sign in with Google. Google sign-in shares your name, verified email and a Google account identifier with Ownly. We do not receive your Google password or request access to your Gmail or Google Drive. Email passwords are stored as salted hashes. Stripe handles your payment details; Ownly stores the identifiers and subscription status needed to manage access.

How we use your data

We use this information to provide property performance calculations, save your portfolio, support your account and improve service reliability. We do not sell your personal data.

Legal basis and retention

We process data to provide the service you request and, where applicable, based on legitimate interests or consent. Data is retained only as long as necessary for the service, legal obligations and dispute resolution.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain processing. You may also complain to Malta’s Information and Data Protection Commissioner.

Cookies and security

Ownly uses only essential authentication and security technologies required to keep you signed in and operate the service. We apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.
